Does your teenager or young adult need help navigating life’s twists and turns?
I’m a life coach with 20+ years of experience.
I can help.
Welcome!
I’m a life coach for teenagers and young adults. Most clients call me “Coach Mo.”
With a background in sociology, specialized physical training, mindfulness, and 20+ years of experience, I provide a unique coaching opportunity for my clients. My philosophy is not a one-size-fits-all approach; it’s designed specifically for each client. I provide clients with a private, focused time to step back and reflect on their life - what’s working, what’s not, and why.
For 20+ years, I’ve been helping teenagers and young adults navigate life’s ups and downs to become the best versions of themselves.
To work with me, I require that each client is motivated to seek personal growth, increased self-awareness, and open to change. My coaching facilitates transformation toward confidence, self-respect, clarity, and a renewed outlook on life and what it means to be happy and successful.
Teenage years can feel isolating, awkward, and overwhelming.
What People Are Saying
“To this day, if anyone asks me, ‘who has had the single most important impact on your life,’ the answer would be easy — Coach Mo.”
“The most important thing that Coach Mo ever did for me was teach me how to be a man. Between his words and his actions, I can’t think of someone outside of my family who has had a bigger impact on me as a young adult.”
“Coach Mo is one of the best mentors or life coaches of youth. He’s the real deal. I can’t think of a more experienced life coach, and certainly not one who gets results that Coach Mo gets. “
Life Coaching for Teens + Young Adults
I offer highly-personalized sessions with young adults designed to support them in their journeys of self-discovery, self-improvement, and growth. My services are tailored to each client. Oftentimes, they are a combination of the following coaching services:
Transition & Mentor Coaching
Adolescence is a whirlwind of change and drama. With so much change on the horizon, young adults often wonder: What is my purpose? What should I be doing? Is this the right move for me? Am I joining the right clubs? Should I go to college? Should I stay in this relationship? Over time, these looming questions are a heavy burden to bear. Coaching is pivotal to help youth feel empowered to make these decisions on their own. We examine their strengths, gifts, experiences, and core values to take the guess work out of important life decisions.
Intentional Focus Coaching
We work together to explore what it means for clients to be their authentic best. This is extremely focused on each individual client, as we work together to identify each client’s best-self vision. We explore why they are not there and create a strategic course of action to achieve those goals. This means that we really get into the nitty-gritty details of life. We look at lifestyle, relationships, daily routine, patterns, and major roadblocks.
Navigating Difficult Life Challenges
Coaching is especially helpful if you are experiencing a particularly negative life event. Examples include: Parents getting a divorce, death in the family or close friends, breakups, car accidents, rejection from a school club, not making the try-outs for a sports team, social media bullying, and the list goes on. We work on identifying healthy ways to grieve and handle failure. In fact, failure and defeat are optimal times for my clients to learn important lessons about resiliency and strength.
